What about overnight outings?

Permission for overnight outings is dependant solely on your work ethic, cooperation, progress and amount of seniority in the house (or any combination of those). It is generally expected that you will have a Fifth Step completed at least 30 days residency before consideration is given.

What kind of restrictions will I be on?

New residents are automatically placed on two weeks "phone restrictions" and 30 days "house restrictions". Personal phone calls are not allowed unless authorized by staff. You must be accompanied by another client(s) approved by staff if leaving the house for any reason during house restrictions. If a minimum of Step 3 is not completed in 30 days you will likely remain on house restrictions until it's been completed

What should I bring?

Space is limited. It is recommended that you bring no more than the equivalent of two suitcases. Bring your own toiletries, towels etc. but they are not required. You may have your own radio, but there are time restriction for use. Please note we take no responsibility for lost or stolen items. They are your responsibility.

How long is your program?

We ask for a 90 day commitment to our program to insure the completion of stage one, however, our program is open-ended, progresses through four stages and is based on individual need.

Is there a pool or gym available?

Special arrangements have been made with Hyde Creek Recreation Centre for the use of their facilities. Clients are encouraged to make exercise and recreational activities a part of their own personalized treatment plan.
